Associations
Mike has especially deep experience working with associations and nonprofits.
The past two years he worked with the Minnesota Medical Association, running their website and publishing a weekly newsletter containing association news.
He did advocacy work for the successful campaign to ban secondhand smoke in the state.
In 2007 Mike was give an Award for Publishing Excellence for his work with the MMA website by the Midwest Society of Association Executives .
Mike has also consulted with the American Society for Quality, Minnesota Chiropractic Association, Forward Wisconsin, American Association of Financial Planmers, Community Bankers of Minnesota, and other groups.
Nonprofits
Mike worked for 5 years for the University of Minnesota as an editor and television producer. He was on-air talent for the public affairs television programs Future Shoes, and moderator for the panel show Portfolio .
Mike has consulted with the Unitarian Universalist Association, the Archdiocese of Minneapolis and St.Paul, United Family Practice Health Center of St. Paul, and many other nonprofits.
