A Fresh Start

One thing I do when times get a little tough is write resumes for people. I call this service "A Fresh Start." It always helps me to have a little more work to fall back on, and I do my best to equip people with a sturdy document to land the next job.

They are almost ordinary resumes. They have all the ordinary features:

  • skills
  • work history
  • education 
  • references

The only difference is, I also write a boilerplate cover letter that tells the interviewer what kind of person you are, and why you want the job. Write a good cover letter, and you can often overcome minor gaps and shortcomings in the document itself.
